Today we arrived in Antarctica. We cruised the Antarctic Sound, going by King George Island gradually making our way to Deception Island. Everywhere we looked we saw amazing vistas of glaciers and icebergs. 

 

The temperature was 0 degrees Celsius, making it quite comfortable for us hearty Canadians. The sun is expected to set tonight just before midnight and rise again at approximately 4:45 a.m.

Tomorrow we will be continuing through the Antarctic along the Danco coast.
