Picton New Zealand

Happy April Fool's Day!  The joke was on us - a predicted overcast day turned out to be sunny and bright with a temperature of 20 degrees Celsius.  Great joke!  

 

We stopped at Picton New Zealand today and took a ride out to Barewood Farm.  We watched a man move a herd of sheep down a hill and into a corral using whistled commands and 4 dogs.

 

We also watched a sheep shearing demonstration which was followed by lunch in the garden.

 

On our way back to Picton we stopped at Upton Oaks Garden for afternoon tea.

 

Tomorrow it's on to Wellington.
