Rounding the Horn

 

Last night we circumnavigated Cape Horn. It was rather rough and windy, but we persevered on deck for about an hour. 

 

This morning we docked at Ushuaia (oosh-why-uh) Argentina. It was uncertain if the ship would be able to dock since the wind was very strong, but our intrepid crew got us there. Ushuaia is a town that is marketed as being "at the end of the world" although there technically are other points further south. We took a tour out to the Tierra del Fuego National Park.

 

Tomorrow we go to Punta Arenas Chile where we will visit Otway Sound where we expect to see more penguins.
